Thirty-one piece thread repair kit, 1/4"-20. Used for repairing tapped holes that have been stripped or damaged. The stainless steel insert is wound into a coil (helical). Once inserted into the hole the radial pressure of the insert holds it firmly into place. The kit comes with inserts, the appropriate size HSS twist drill, installation tool, tang removal tool and L hex wrench.

Photos

	Drill out the old threads using the HSS twist drill that is included in the thread repair kit.
	Tap the hole using the Screw Thread Insert (STI) tap from the kit.
	Install the insert using the coil driver and L Hex wrench installation tools.
	Remove the tang of the insert with the tang breaker (punch).
